What is against dandruff?
No one likes having bothersome white flakes in their hair, particularly when wearing dark clothing. The surprising remedy for a dry and flaky scalp is stinging nettle water. The stinging nettle is a medicinal plant with a wide range of uses and is also very beneficial for hair care.
If you are prone to dandruff, you can easily prepare you own nourishing hair tonic made of stinging nettles. Using gloves, cut up around 50 grams of clean leaves and roots and add them to 500 millilitres of apple vinegar. Leave in a sunny area for three weeks and then pour into dark bottles. Your DIY hair tonic is now ready.
To use, dilute the mixture with water (one part mixture to five parts water), massage the liquid into the scalp and allow to work for around 30 minutes. If you do not have a particularly sensitive scalp, you can use the tonic neat and leave it on for less time. Around 15 minutes should be sufficient to pamper your scalp.
